Getting your first tattoo...

Getting your first tattoo is exciting, but can be a little scary. What I hope to do here is explain the process to you and assist you on making the right decision.

First of all I want to say that getting a tattoo is not for everyone. If you are one of those people who have always wanted a tattoo but could never really decide on what you wanted, perhaps it is still not the right time. There is no reason to get a tattoo just to get one. I believe the decision should have some meaning behind it, just as the art itself should. That said, maybe you jsut haven't had enough information or the tattoo's you have looked at just don't do anything for you. There should be some passion behind the art you are inveesting in. Remember you are investing: A) Money B) and most important - a canvas that your art will be created on that you will carry for the rest of your life.

Not something to just jump into in my opinion.

The process

Let me explain the basic process to you and what to expect in getting a tattoo. I'm not sure if you have been to a tattoo studio/parlor before but I will assume that you have not. What you will encounter in that environment will be a bit different than the way your experience with me would be.
